Question user lock with using PAM


hello friends...
i was doing that user give two times wrong password and his password should be locked...and i am using this keyword in /etc/pam.d/system-auth

auth required pam_tally.so onerr=fail no_magic_root
account required pam_tally.so per_user deny=2 no_magic_root


and showing this command /var/log/faillog or faillog -a
it`s showing faillure limit but it`s not lock please anybody help me...

And what if you prep that user account using the faillog binary?
