uninstalling OOo 1

i am using RHEL 4 which has OOo 1. Recently I have installed OOo 2.0.4 and now I have both OOo 1 and OOo 2.0.4. How to uninstall OOo 1?

Get the list of the older versions rpm files;

rpm -qa 'openoffice*" | sort

Then remove them all at once;

rpm -e openoffice.org-1.1.5-4.6.0 openoffice.org-i18n-1.1.5..and so on.

Graphical approach is going tot he system > installed software and then just uncheck the Office packages. I also advice using yum as opposed to just rpm. Also remember that you can have both suites in the same system wtihout having any problem except you will need to configure the registration of files to the corresponding app.
