Uncompressing MS-Backup files in Linux

Prior to my arrival, my company used the "Microsoft Windows Backup" utility in order to backup desktops (well... at least the ones using windows).
Eventhough I switched the company to another format, I have old backups that need to be archived to CD, but I do not wish to keep them in the horrible QIC (win9x) and BKF (win2000) formats.

Does anyone know where I can find a Linux utility that can read (uncompress) these windows formats ?
(Actually, Veritas created this awful software :( )
