Unable to detect sound card in RH enterprise3

I am using a laptop that has Conexant soundcard.Can anyone tell me where i can get the drivers for this hardware.The kernel version is
Linux version 2.4.21-4.EL.
Thanx.

I know this is not the reply you want to hear, but:
why using an "enterprise" o.s. on a laptop ?

RHEL is optimized for server hardware, you chose the worst option for a laptop.

It will be harder for you to get those drivers and make then work with RHEL kernel than reinstalling your o.s. using a more desktop friendly distro ( Ubuntu, kubuntu, openSuse, Mandriva ... even Fedora)
