su: cannot set groups: Operation not permitted


Hi,

I am working on Linux 5.4 enterprise version.
I have issues with 'su' command.
When I enter 'su' and password the following message is displayed.

/home/xxx]$ su
Password:
su: cannot set groups: Operation not permitted

Please help to resolve the problem.

I have resovled the issue.

I have changed the permission of su file in /bin.

Hi

I have resolved the issue by changing the /bin/su permissions.
