Set Default audio driver

I am using slackware 13.1 OS having intel soundcard as the default, which is working perfectly.
How do i make dummy alsa driver (available at usr/src/linux2.6.XX/sound/driver/dummy.c), as the default audio driver.

You can blacklist the module you don't want to be loaded in the blacklist file within the /etc/modprobe.d directory.

You can also load the module you want to be loaded with the modprobe command in the /etc/rc.d/rc.local file
Code:

modprobe mydummydriver
where you'll have to replace the word mydummydriver with the correct modulename.

Be sure that you have built the kernel with this module (if it isn't yet available) but for Slackware it should be there, you can therefore load it via
Code:

modprobe snd_dummy
