Question RPC timed out - NFS server


I have configured NIS server in RHEL4.. am exporting the home directory.. In client side add the NIS domain and i used /etc/fstab file for mounting the home diretory.. like this 192.168.3.1:/home /home nfs defaults 0 0. wen i ran service netfs restart, RPC timedout error occured. how to solve this..
