Redhat As (academic version)

Hi all,

after fooling around on RH site i found that because im a student i can get Red Hat AS for around 50$. Its sounds great and all but i would like to know a two things before i actually buy it.

does anyone know if ..

-- i can use it as a profit machine?

-- if i wanted to use things like cpanel would it work with the academic version?

thanks

RedHat defines "Academic" here: http://www.redhat.com/solutions/indu...ion/qualified/. They specifically say "non-profit" in that statement.

You may want to check out some other Linux distros. Most are zero-cost, as easy to use as RedHat and allow you to use the product for profit and non-profit uses.
