Redhat AS 4 connecting to tape library
Hi guys,
I need to connect a server to our tape library over a fibre HBA. The HBA was automatically detected by Redhat, luckily, as drivers and utilities aren't yet available from the HBA vendor as yet for Redhat 4.
Here's what comes up when I do a dmesg (bold print is relevant):
SCSI subsystem initialized
HP CISS Driver (v 2.6.4)

scsi: unknown device type 31

And when I do an lspci:

Bacula, the backup software I'm using just needs to address the tape unit using a /dev/xxx device. How do I set it up so the tape unit appears in /dev ?
Thanks guys.
