qmail relay

Hi,

I have installed life with Qmail package on RHEL-5. ]

I want to know how can we send mails to external domains (hotmail and so on)through Qmail?

One way , as far I know is through rcpthost file , but I think we need to list all domains in this file such as yahoo, hotmail and so on.which becomes not feasible to list all domains.

Another way is pop before smtp .Can anybody guide me in integrating popb4smtp with qmail. I searched on google but could not find any relalted docs.

Out of two, which method is recommended ?
