postdrop error

I have a script that emails me & a number of people once it's finished, or when it errors out. It's running on a different server now and for some odd reason the email part of the script doesn't work. The script has not changed, but that makes me believe something on the server needs to change to let my emails work.

example (the body of the text is irrelevant; note the error)--
I type this command...:
me@mysles8server5:~> env|sort|mail -s "env from $HOSTNAME" beeblequix@somewherereallyspecial.mud

(...and this is the error I get: )

Null message body; hope that's ok
/tmp/RsfA8N2M: No space left on device
me@mysles8server5:~> postdrop: warning: uid=502: No space left on device
send-mail: fatal: me(502): Error writing message file

Then I have to <ctl>-c to get my prompt back.

This exact command works on a different server (highlight & paste) so it's not the command, it's something else.

Did I mention that last week I was able to email from this same server...? Something has either changed or hasn't been maintained.

Any ideas?

Well, like the error says, "/tmp/RsfA8N2M: No space left on device" sounds to me like /tmp is full and it can't write anything to it.. seems pretty obvious to be for the first thing to look for.

thx for the reply. I actualy did cd over there but didn't really see much inside /tmp. The system programmer looked at it, deleted something (not very much) and now it works.
