Plugins of Mozilla Firefox-1.5.0.12 while running R12 on OEL 4.7

I am trying to access R12 application on network from my laptop that has Oracle Enterprise Linux 4.7 installed. Network setting are fine. After login in R12 Applications, while i want to choose any function it demands plugins for Mozilla Firefox. My Mozilla Firefox version is 1.5.0.12
Plz guide me to install required plugins to run R12 Applications in Mozilla Firefox.

Can you explain what an 'R12 application' is?

What plugins does it say you need?

As for updating Firefox, well it's possible they can't. The version of GTK that Firefox requires was increased as of version 3 and that was a problem for some Enterprise distros because their version of GTK was too old. Of course GTK can't be updated without also updating a ton of other stuff. The then current version of SuSE Linux Enterprise had this problem. Novell eventually solved it by bundling up new versions of GTK and all it's dependencies that got put in /top and delivering a Firefox 3 build compiled to work against them.
