PHP mysql extension not loaded

Hi everybody,

Question - How do i load the extenios so that mysql will run with php. When i run my test.php and see all the info, it says in the top that mysql is not loaded. I have done extensive reading, but cannot find a solution to this problem.

I think if i am corret, with fedora core 6, it came loaded and ready to go, however, with Red Hat Linux Server, it seems to be unactive.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Generally you need to have the php-mysql RPM loaded. It should be on your install CDs or installable via up2date or whatever method RHEL has for online installation (I use CentOS instead).

Thanks, I finally figures out wrong what I was doing. when you install, you can click the extrat modules to load under the mysql check box, that took care of it.

Thanks,

James
