Mounting File System in Redhat Ent 5.2

Hi,
I have mounted the single storage unit from the SAN to two different servers A and B using the iscsi protocol and update the /etc/fstab. Finally these 2 servers are supposed to install the oracle database cluster.When I created one file in the storage unit from the Server A , it doesn't update to the Server B eventhough it is mounted on the same storage unit. Is it normal or something I need to do from both servers? Or oracle cluster will handle the passive/ active features to this storage unit?

Here is the output of the /etc/fstab in Server A and Sever B where /u01 is mounted on the same storage LUN from the SAN.

[root@ServerA]# more /etc/fstab
/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol00 / ext3 defaults 1 1
LABEL=/boot /boot ext3 defaults 1 2
tmpfs /dev/shm tmpfs defaults 0 0
devpts /dev/pts devpts gid=5,mode=620 0 0
sysfs /sys sysfs defaults 0 0
proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol01 swap swap defaults 0 0
/dev/iscsi/0b005/part1 /u01 ext3 _netdev 0 0
[root@ServerA]#
****************************************************************************
[root@ServerB]# more /etc/fstab
/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol00 / ext3 defaults 1 1
LABEL=/boot /boot ext3 defaults 1 2
tmpfs /dev/shm tmpfs defaults 0 0
devpts /dev/pts devpts gid=5,mode=620 0 0
sysfs /sys sysfs defaults 0 0
proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol01 swap swap defaults 0 0
/dev/iscsi/0a005/part1 /u01 ext3 _netdev 0 0

Hy,

ext3 does not support use in shared storage environment, for such a setup use a filesystem like GFS or OCFS.
