Monitoring Kernel parameters

Hi all,

I have a question about the kernel parameters or the tunable parameters. We have a problem with our apache server and we assume that a parameter is full. Now I want to monitor several parameters file-nr, nproc ...

How could I do that? I know the ulimit and sysctl command but how do I get the actual values of all these parameters?!

Thank you in advance.

You should read man sysctl.

install kernel-doc , then read the sysctl part.

Thanks for your hints but I haven't found anything according to the file lock parameter. Does anyone of you know how to increase this parameter or does this value depends on other parameters?!
