missing entries in the system > administration list

after installing oel 6.3, and using the add/remove software tab to install missing software that handled printing and server settings i find that i'm missing a number of the items that used to be in oel 5.7 for example this is what the list looks like in oel 5.7:
authentication
date & time
display
keyboard language
logical volume manager
login screen
network
printing
root password
security leve & firewall
server settings
selinux management
smart card manager
soundcard detection
system log
system monitor
unbreakable linux network configuration
users & groups:
------------------------------

what i see on oel 6.3 is:

add/remove software
authentication
date & time
firewall
software sources
software update
uln registration
users & groups
-------------------------
where is the rest of the items ???

Between v5 & v6, RH cut down on the default install (at least for minimal install systems).
Since OEL/OUL is a copy of RHEL, you get the same effect.
If you need more stuff, use the Add/Remove SW to get it, or use the cmd line.
Note also that the yum groups list content has changed also.

i noticed that the groupinstall command doesn't seem to work as it did in oel 5.x, the same groupinstall command that i used in 5.8 returns nothing in oel 6.3, i get no group does not exist ?
did they change the group names for oel 6.3, and if so how do i find out what the new name is , for example KDE ??

As per my previous

So, 'yes' to your qn.

Just run 'yum grouplist' to get the new list.
See also 'yum groupinfo ..', 'yum provides ..' etc.
