Microsoft Office documents support (what office suite is better?)

I work in a small recruting company. By specific of business, it needs to contact with many people around country, and almost all of them use Windows and Microsoft Office as well (this OS is quite popular in out country ). Anyway, general problem to use Linux in our company is a Microsoft Office documents support. What Linux office suite is better in this matter?
I choused OpenOffice.org 1.3, but it has many problems too, especialy with big Excel files, header and footer graphics in Word files and so.

If somebody can give me some tips about...
Thanks

PS: I suspect my decision to take out Windows from all computers in company is a matter of my own taste

Unfortunately, while OpenOffice.org's support for MSOffice files is good enough for personal users, it is not enough for professional users, and there's nothing better, even though Abiword/Gnumeric can sometimes outperform OO.o on some .DOC/.XLS files.

Still, using Linux shouldn't be seen as a bad decision IMO. An OS is not only an office suite. Stability, and reliability, and applications' availability are involved, and in those respects, Linux is a good choice.

So here you are: you're using Linux, and (IMHO) you need MSOffice. Were I you, I'd first see if I'm happy with Wine support for MSOffice; and if it's not good enough, I'd buy a Crossover-Office licence.

Yves.
