Installation Problem with RHEL AS 4.0 Update4
 

am trying to install RHEL AS 4.0 Update 4 in a Intel 946GZIS mother board with Intel PIV Core2 Duo 3 Ghz Processor, 256Mb ram, 160Gb SATA hard disk.The installation starts and hangs at

PCI:Probing PCI hardware (bus 00)

I have tried using "linux noprobe" , "linux expert" without any success.

Help me to overcome this problem

Hi Everyone

I have over come the problem by adding pci=nommconf as boot parameter.After successful installation do add the boot parameter in the boot loader configuration
