ino_t type
 

hi,

i want to know the type of ino_t in stat structure.is it long or simply int. also when i am looking at inode numbers in /proc/pid/fd list i get 8 digit inodes but using stat structure when i extract inode of each open descriptor from /proc/pid/fd ,except current process, i get inode numbers as one digit or 2 digit numbers. why such difference happens? can anybody explain me???
