How to obtain a interrupt or signal to press the tray key of CDROM?

Hi everybody,

There is a IDE CDROM, the linux kernel is 2.4.20. It's important to obtain the interrupt or signal while the tray key is pressed on the panel of CDROM, because i need to do something for this.
Thank you.
