how to load sound card


how to load sound card

while i shudown i get error message
"
Saving mixer settings modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module sound-slot-0
modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate sound-service-0-0
aumix: error opening mixer
[ FAILED ]
"
i have sound card ie "Intel Realtek high definition audio bus drivers Realtek 880"

but i could not locate this driver in net or mother board cd i am using p4 with 915 chipset and "Enterprise linux ws"

Please anybody help me to locate this driver and load

I've got several questions 4U
1 which distro?
2 Which sound system? (ALSA? OSS? etc)
3 Are U going to use build-in-kerenel modules or "external" driver???
before answering - try to read Sound-HOWTO...
