how to install iostat, mpstat, vmstat commands in RHEL 3.0
 

Hello,

I am working with RHEL3.0.

Presently iostat, vmstat, mpstat commands are not working on my linux.

What shall I do to get them?

By installing Sysstat package we can get the "iostat" and "mpstat" commands.

Sysstat package can be downloaded from http://directory.fsf.org/sysadmin/monitor/sysstat.html

iostat and mpstat are in sysstat-5.0.5-5.rhel3 package provided on disk by Red Hat.
vmstat is in the procps-2.0.17-13 package disk provied by Red Hat or by RHN.
