Health Check / Server Completion Check Software?
 

I work in a company that installs a lot of Linux servers. We have many process since SOX to ensure all steps are completed on our servers before they are put into production. I have written some scripts to go out and check servers to ensure they have had all the software loaded and the configuration is correct. I was wondering how other companies are doing this same type of activities. Is there any software already out there that does a similar check and provide a nice looking output? We are in the process of out sourcing the setup of these servers and I would like to execute something against a server to ensure it is complete.
