Question DNS problem for Redhat AS4


Hi, everybody.
I have installed Redhat Enterprise As4 on a DELL server with 64bit. i met a problem about DNS . when i nslookup ns.test.gz, it prompted 'sever can't find ns.test.gz: NXDOMAIN". i thanks someone to help me .Pls give me some help messages.

".gz" is not a top level domain as far as I am aware of..
