Display "Details during Startup" RHEL4


How do you to set it up permanently...during startup.

Also when it shutdown....I see blank screen....when I hit "ctrl" key....that the time it shows up the shutdown display details.

in the file /boot/grub/grub.conf find the line that looks like this
Code:
kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.9-5.EL ro root=/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol00 rhgb quiet
and remove the "rhgb quiet".

Thanks...I'll try that....seem there were some new things to explore (updated from RHEL AS 3.0 U4 to RHEL AS 4.0

I see "rhgb quiet", so maybe this is a k2.6 thing ?
