Comparing Linux red-hat V/S Enterprise Version

Hi,
I am running one of my software with Linux red-hat (2.4.6) and Linux Enterprise Version 3. But looks like Linux E S release 3 is giving more performance benefits then Red-hat Linux. I want feed back on the same from the users for Linux Enterprise V-3.
My software is interacting with TCP/IP stack from OS.
Wanna your feed back on the same.

Regards

RHEL 3 Series are based on kernel 2.4 with NPTL support, so its performance is better than legacy Red Hat Linux. You may also want to check Fedora Core 1 within kernel 2.4NPTL or Fedora Core 2 within kernel 2.6. (http://fedora.redhat.com)
