cant locate libncurses.so.5

Hi guys,

I was installing a hp proliant software pack. 1 of the component uses libncurses.so.5. when i do rpm -Uvh hpvca-2.1.9-6.linux.rpm --force, it returns

error: Failed dependencies:
libncurses.so.5 is needed by hpvca-2.1.9-6.i386

I have the file under /usr/lib64/libncurses.so.5
How do I resolve this?

1. Do you have a mixed 32/64 bit system?
2. Did you install libncurses by hand rather than via rpm?
