building a local RHEL repo

hi guys,

I am thinking of building my own RHEL repo locally. The main reason is my office production servers are strictly prohibited to connect to internet. So, I want a server (local repo server) connected to RHN which is keep on retrieving updates from RHN or RHEL mirrors and then all production servers are connected to the local repo server. I can simply find the steps for building CentOS repo like http://www.howtoforge.com/creating_a...ository_centos but couldn't for RHEL repo. i know i can follow the guide because CentOS and RHEL is almost the same but i am not sure what is RHEL mirror instead of CentOS got a lot of mirror list like http://www.centos.org/modules/tinyco...ndex.php?id=30.

is it applicable to do this and how to get this done? is there any licensing needs to apply? please advice.
thanks.

The CentOS instructions should work, but an even better solution for you is to call RedHat support. You're paying for support from them and access to RHN, and they can point you to documentation on how to make this work like you're wanting.
