<4> in kernel log RHEL 4
Hi,
My colleague, working for hosting provider, told me about strange sequences of '<4>' appearing in kernel log in RHEL 4. Does it make some sense? |
I'm afraid that is insufficient to say anything
|
So, it is not, hm, common behaviour?
What other kind of information are needed? I may ask my colleague for this. I am also curious about this. |
contact redhat
BUT and this is a BIG ONE redhat is ONLY supporting RHEL 4.9 IF AND ONLY IF you bought a EXTRA extended lifesupport contract and ONLY for 4.9 basically rhel4 is unsupported and if you did NOT buy the expensive extra extended support contract and did not upgrade to 4.9 you are also missing the last security fixes so one thing that would help is exactly WHAT version of rhel4 is this ? |
