RASPBERRY PI 2

My rASPBERRY PI 2
is canakit
ultimate starter kit
canakit.com

it comes with ethrnet and 4 usb ports
the wireless will gobble a usb if you wish to use it
the 2 is faster and needs more power
It has a 2.5A 5v power supply
if im not crazy each usb can supply 500 ma x4 is 2A ... so usb could use most of the power supply
most of the external HDs 2.5" take about 500 ma i have tried one the external 3.5s have their own supply

Cautions with the PI say shut down before removing power ... the flash does take time to write
possible the reboot involved a bad shutdown and corrupted your sd card?

so far my pi has been trouble free

on the desktop i had a bit of trouble with a dell rt7 d10 Keyboard
it has a 2 port usb hub inside so you can plug in a mouse and use only one usb on the puter
the puter objects with a mouse and a thumbdrive in the keyboard

a lot of apples kbd have this usb extra also but i never had an issue
