Nook Simple Touch + 3G Modem

Nook Simple Touch, for those who don't know, is a very good ebook reader. It's Android based, and one can have a distro installed on it. One shortcoming though is that it doesn't have 3G model. Has anyone here, tried to get 3G modem USB OTG working on Nook?

Any directions is appreciated. I don't know much about embedded programming.

I don't know about the ST, but the HD has the ability to act as a USB host under Android (CyanoganMod). However for what you want to do, you'd also likely need a driver for that 3G modem and that will be hard to come by.
