Linux embedded system only provides "rdate", not NTP

A little late, but I have the same issue because my Linux embedded system only provides "rdate", not NTP.

I have updated to the most recent firmware so I guess this question is relevant for other users, too.
I was able to sync using "rdate" against 164.67.62.194.

time1.ucla.edu - 164.67.62.194 (stratum 1)
time2.ucla.edu - 164.67.62.212 (stratum 1)
time3.ucla.edu - 164.67.62.198 (stratum 2)
time4.ucla.edu - 164.67.62.213 (stratum 2)

I don't see how you expect to get a response when:
  1. You don't provide any link for what that "same issue" might be (and I can't find any post in this forum that looks like a candidate),
  2. You don't mention what kind of embedded system you have,
  3. There isn't anything in your post that looks like a question or request for help.
