How to update squashfs on embedded system?

Hi group,

Sorry for cross posting, I missed this forum at first.

I just purchased a Sabio CM200 to use as a backup LAN server. Sweet little box that runs Linux. The support told me that they will be Open Sourcing the box but not yet. The software has problems and I would like to get inside of it but no SSH. So I would like to update the file system to include SSH.

I have the new image file and need to deblock it. I know from other embedded system ( LinkSys ) that there is a header on the front of the image file and I can use DD to remove it but I don't know how big it is. The file is available at http://http://www.sabioproducts.com/...AS2_V2_1_0.zip

After I remove the header, I can use qemu to run the system?

Anyway that is the plan.

Any ideas on how to remove the header?? Also how to rebuild it for installation?
