Exclamation How to flash img file to nand memory (android STB)

Hello,
I've recently bought a new google TV device (running 2.1) for custom usage. so I installed a new home screen app on the device that blocked all UI interaction.
"can't open setup , file manager ... access anything actually"
at the same time the device has only ethernet and USB host ports.
meaning I can't connect it to PC and use adb to fix this issue.
I don't have a root access on the device, any ideas what to do ??

Hi,

Welcome to LQ!
Too little information to form a diagnosis/help. Unit model number and other pertinent information.

FYI: I suggest that you look at 'How to Ask Questions the Smart Way' so in the future your queries provide information that will aid us in diagnosis of the problem or query.

Sorry

I will try to describer the problem in more details.
I got this product:
http://www.beyonwiz.com.au/products.php?id=12

which runs android 2.1, all of it's inputs/outputs are an IR remote and two USB host , wifi and ethernet port.
android is designed for a UI interaction so unless the device is rooted and has a shell emulator on it, there is almost nothing can be done without the UI. I installed a custom app on this device so when it boots up the app opens and nothing else can be accessed ( the app can't be closed and I can't navigate away form the app).
if the device had a client USB ports I can connect it to my PC and use ADB to access it. but it doesn't.
I think the only way is to write to the device internal storage(nand memory) a new version of the os img file to get back to it's original state.
hope that explains it
