how to build apllications in embedded linux??


hey guys

i would like to know the best IDE to develope applications in c/c++ and java
i am working with arm 9 and Linux 2.6.29

well one of the best IDE's to develop for linux in C++ is your favorite text editor

Embedded systems developers, from my experience, tend to be a little more 'old school'. Working in the realm of bits and registers, and RS-232 consoles, many people find fancy GUI thangs just get in the way. A decent text editor, a decent terminal emulator, and a PROM burner are my IDE.

But then, I'm not from the old school. I'm from the school they knocked down to build the old school.
