How to build a individual module in the kernel tree


Hi,
i want to compile only the i2c and eeprom devices in the kernel.......
currently i am building the whole kernel.............
Is there any command to build individual module......
And also i need to check the printks in i2c and eeprom what is the way to do that?

try change to the i2c dir and make modules
this is only my personal opinions .be careful...

From the top level of the source tree you should be able to simply do
Code:
make drivers/<path>/<driver>.ko
