How do I get filesystem on the dataflash (AT91SAM9261-EK ) ?

Hi

Working on a project based on the AT9SAM9261-EK board and it all works, but on the production boards we do not have a nandflash, we want all parts of linux to be in the dataflash (in our case 8Meg).

How do I get the root file system (jffs2 format) that the kernel boots to, to use the dataflash instead of the nandflash ?

Here are more detailed questions towards that goal.

1.How do I get the dataflash to contain partitions, I know changes are needed in the linux kernel, but where do I start (I tried to use at91_dataflash.c but it wont compile) ?

2. how do I know what adress in dataflash to upload the jffs2 image to once I get a partition created ?

3.Is it that the AT9SAM9261-EK simply can not have the root file system in the dataflash ?

Any clues, no matter how small will be greatly appreciated.
