Without seeing all of the messages all I can assume is the receiver may not be locked on to any satellites and therefore not calculating a position yet. Has the Jupiter 31 model ever successfully locked connected to another system? Since this is just communication via serial port the operation of the GPS receiver is really independent of the SBC.

I assume the antenna has an unobstructed view of the sky. I also assume that the unit is programmed correctly. Have you also verified antenna power is good?

The GPGSV message is becoming garbled for some reason. The GGA message indicates that no satellites are in view. The receiver should be completely independent of the system attached. Unfortunately I am unfamiliar with Jupiter series of receivers.

Hi,
I have extracted only RMC data .In that time value is changing but it is wrong value and
there is no date field . So can I confirm the module is getting data from satellite and in
the data handling is making problem ..

Or can I confirm GPS antena and reciever is ok ..

Please see the extracted data that I am getting from GPS - ( GPRMC data only )

I assume the "data validity error Buffer data" is a data handling error. However, the receiver does not appear to be locked on to any satellites. You can plug the receiver into any regular desktop and use either minicom or hyperterminal to verify the data messages.

Yes, something is wrong whether or not it is the antenna or the module is difficult to determine. For all but one or your posts with data output the clock does not appear to be incrementing correctly.
