[SOLVED] Touch Screen

Hi!,

I have a linux board and there is a touch screen display with ads7846 controller. I intend to write a simple application to write some character on screen. In order to this i found a driver on the internet(free-electrons)

but i am confused about it. I can't realize type of driver. Can anybody give some advice? How can i access this device from user space using this driver?
