Question sound problem with Open Suse 11.1

sound card is ASRock VIA VT8235/8237 AC97 Audio Controller chip on board. Kernel Driver is snd_via82xx

Sound worked perfectly under Open Suse 10.3 When I upgraded to Suse 11.1 sound stopped working and Yast reports that the module could not be loaded because it is either missing or has parameter problems. However Knoppix can find and use the sound chip. How do I find the sound driver that Knoppix uses and install it so that Suse 11.1 can use it?
