SAM9-L9260 TCP over USB

Hello,

I have a board which is based on SAM9-L9260. On this board runs a Debian and some other software.

The runs also a webserver, this webserver contains a website, which can be used to configure the system.

The problem is the board has everytime another ip, thats not the really problem, its good that the board uses a dhcp, but so it's hard to connect to the device over lan, because the ip is unknown.

The people who configure normally the board uses a PDA (with windows mobile) and the board has USB.

so, my questions is:
can i connect over USB from the windows mobile device to the debian system (only to the webserver) over USB?

Use the RS-232 console port to configure your system. Run a terminal program on your host computer such as windows hyperterminal or linux minicom. You can then edit the config files as necessary to setup a static IP address. Check the boards manual.

to configure a static ip is no problem, but i can't to it, because the every board ill be loaded with an image.

and then the boards go to the people, who use it, and then a guy has to configure it, with a static ip, there will be problems, if in the lan is more than one of this board's.

so i have to use a way over the USB interface.

thx 4 the answer
