Nand flash boot problem

Hi
I'm working in iMx31 processor with Redboot as boot loader. I'm facing a problem while loading the kernel image from nand flash that Redboot is reading more number of bad blocks in nand flash by HWECC method. I want to solve this with in redboot not in kernel code. Pls any one help me to solve this issue?
