Question Does linux 2.6.10 flash driver supports 256 word/byte write buffer?

Hello all,

Does linux 2.6.10 flash driver supports 256 word/byte write buffer? Have anyone have any experience on using a flash device that has 256-Word write buffer for x16 mode, 256-Byte write buffer for x8 mode?

Regards,
