wine configuration?

I just downloaded the latest version of wine for SuSE...

I installed the RPM just fine... and I'm trying to Install Office 2000... when I run it.. It always either says

Warning: the specified Windows directory L"C:\\Windows" is not accessible.
Warning: the specified System directory L"C:\\Windows\\System" is not accessible.
err:shell:SHGetFolderPathW Failed to create directory 'L"C:\\WINDOWS\\Fonts"'.
err:shell:SHGetFolderPathW Failed to create directory 'L"C:\\WINDOWS\\Fonts"'.
fixme:font:WineEngRemoveFontResourceEx :stub
err:shell:SHGetFolderPathW Failed to create directory 'L"C:\\WINDOWS\\Fonts"'

and continues on for couple hundred lines...

OR

I get this:

wine: Could not load graphics driver 'x11drv'.
Make sure that your X server is running and that $DISPLAY is set correctly.

what's the cause of this? I haven't tried installing any other windows apps yet... so I'm unsure if it is related specifically to O2k

Thanks Guys

Check your config file, and/or compile Wine from the source.

In that case install Wine from the source, and delete your ~/.wine directory. Then try again.

I managed to get it working. Here's what I did:

I used Yast to remove wine and eleted the .wine directory.

I then used Yast to download the version which it has available (unsure right now what version as I am at work)

When I tried to instal office by running "wine /media/cdrom/setup.exe" The Office 2000 instaler would come up and then pop up with an error of: "Invalid drive X:\" Well, I checked my wine config file and there was nothing listed as X: so I didn't know what was up with that..

Upon further inspection of the .wine folder under dosdevices, I noticed that there was an "X" folder whihc was just a link to the /tmp directory. Okay I thought, I checked back under the wine config file and there was another letter pointing to /tmp (I think it was M?)

Anyways, using vi I just duplicated the entry in there for /tmp and changed the drive letter to X...

Guess what? It worked! So thanks for your help, I got it working.

BTW, if anyone is interested in StarOffice 7 it is available for FREE DOWNLOAD under similar principals as the Solaris download "for students or educators" I got it, and it's actually quite similar to OpenOffice... And yes, I know it's based on OpenOffice... It's nice either way...
