Who use Zorin

Can share with me your experience?
Is it nicer than Ubuntu?
I means the abundance of pre-loaded sofewares, GUI interface.

TobiSGD 07-10-2011 05:37 AM

Why don't you just try it? You know of the existence of Live-CDs, don't you?

TigerLinux 07-10-2011 07:08 AM

I not yet downloaded.
Wish to listen to its users' opinions.

Obviously, people using Zorin will like it - otherwise they wouldn't be using it in the first place.
People who don't use Zorin either don't particularly like it or haven't tried it yet.

TigerLinux 07-10-2011 08:36 AM

No feedback means it is an unpopular OS? :)

TobiSGD 07-10-2011 08:40 AM

No feedback means they either don't haven't read your thread or simply don't want to answer to your questions.
Zorin is on place 28 on Distrowatch, so I doubt that it is unpopular.

Why would you trust anyone's opinion other than YOUR OWN??? What you will like/dislike is up to YOU, no one else...I use openSUSE. There are LOTS of other folks who wouldn't touch it. Lots of other folks don't like Ubuntu, Slack, Mandriva, Fedora, etc.

If you want to know if you'll like it, then download it and try it.

I feel that it is unlikely for a Ubuntu user to switch to Zorin. :D

Why not? They seem to be leaving (or at least thinking about leaving) ubuntu in large numbers, mainly thanks to unity...

As an aside, I've used zorin. The core version, not one of the 'premium' versions (aka the 'we want you to pay for it but we dont want to say that, so we'll call it a 'donation'' versions).

It didnt do much for me, and as far as I know the person I installed it for moved on to a different distro.

What's wrong with unity?
It is so good to me.

Just because it is good for you doesn't mean that it is good for everyone.

I do not think Ubuntu development team's IT specialists/engineers are stupid. :D
