I am running RH 8.0 on an Emachine with celeron 1.8, 128 mb memory. My computer never goes into sleep mode like it did when XP was on it. The bios doesn't seem to have any power management settings. Anybody got any ideas how to get this thing to go to sleep?
I searched high and low for "Control Panel." Sounds like something in my bygone Windows days. Do you mean "Control Center?" I looked in there and nothing about power management. Is there something I can do in a terminal, through a command?
