Upgrading from 9.2 to 10.0

I'm wanting to upgrade from SuSe 9.2 to 10.0 but first I wan't to know if I'll have to reinstall all my packages (like Opera, the devel packages for compiling, etc.)

Yes. The development packages will be on the SuSE 10.0 install CD. Foriegn packages will have to be recompiled on SuSE 10.0. In the case of Opera there is a version of Opera compiled for SuSE 8.2, 9.0, 9.1, 9.2, 9.3 at

http://www.opera.com/download/

I have installed this version of Opera on SuSE 10.0 and it works perfectly. This is the ad free version of Opera.

I knew there would be devel packages on the cd but I had to download devel packages from the internet inorder to comnpile stuff and it took hours, I just wanted to know if those will still be installed, but I guess those would go under foreign packages, wouldn't they?
