Trying to boot Suse 10.2--error 22

Hi people:
I'm a newbie to linux and need help.
I just downloaded and burned Suse 10.2 without any problems. I'm trying to install on a computer with a 750 Athlon processor, approximately 400 mem., via chipset, 8 gb hd,cd, floppy and no other os. I have downloaded and burned Suse disk 1 3 times and each time checksum is right and Nero says disk burned correckly. I have 2 other computers and the disk will not start on either one. I get a message invalid sys disk and after about 30 seconds a message GRUB loading stagr1.5 then GRUB loading please wait then error 22. I have a freespire disk, a redhat disk which boot OK. Suse will not boot. Any suggestions.
I thought I would Suse to see if I liked better than the freespire OS.
Thanks, semooc1

Hi,

Where Are You Downloading It From? The Source May Have A Damaged Copy And If They Made The Checksums They Will Be Of No Help. Download It From: http://en.opensuse.org/download I Would Recommend Using A System Like Torrenting Rather Than FTP As Torrenting Has Inbuilt Error Checking.

I origenally downloaded from Novell using torrent. I reburned disk 1 and still no success.
Thank you Ben Cook2 for your reply.

Hi,

Did You Burn The Redhat Disc Yourself, As It Sounds Like The Discs You Are Burning SUSE 10.2 To Might Be Flawed. What Are The Stats Of The 2 Other Machines You Are Trying To Boot The Disc On, Would Help As Well
