I am trying to install Mandrake 9.1 on an AMD 750 with a SCSI adapter on a 3 Go HDD, I am getting this message every time: Error while installing package Libsigc++1.0-1.0.4-mdk.I586
I choose to continue and I get many other error messages, I am not sure what they relate to.
I wonder if this is caused by my CDROM acting up or what else, I successfully installed Windows 2000 on this PC with the same setup, I don't understand.
At first I thought it was my install CD, so I created an other copy and I am getting the same problems.
I made an other CD from the same ISO file, now, I tried to install Red Hat and it froze at the end of the install, I then used Licoris and I was successful with that one. I know my Red Hat CDs are ok though, I installed them on an earlier PC a while back
