Switch to GNOME from KDE and Vice-versa

I installed Mandy 9.0 and its simply great - the ease of install. I set up KDE as the Graphical GUI when I do startx.

How can I switch (Switchdesk in RH) to GNOME as the GUI from within KDE so that nbext time i type startx, I start up with GNOME ?

Any help appreciated...

The easist way would probably be to put exec startgnome in the .xinitrc file in your ~ dir.

Is it startgnome or gnome-session

Also u can type switchdesk gnome in a konsole to change the GUI.(switchdesk alone without any arguments give you a list of available GUIs)

Yeah, you see, the problem is that switchdesk is an RH program and as such, doesn't come with Mandy. I've tried that many, many times And I would put startgnome in the .xinitrc file because that then starts all of the required things too.
